Maybe it was just a hiccup, but don’t let my issue take away from how good the sound quality is. I tried it on my mobile phone too and it still sounded better than my desktop. The sound was quieter on my desktop though I did nothing to the volume control on either computers. The only issue I had was when I went from playing music on my Macbook versus my desktop. As always, I start out by listening to some music to see how that sounds and everything I played sounded amazing. Don’t get me wrong, I will still use them even after sending this headset back, but you can’t un-hear something of this good quality. The last gaming headset I reviewed was the iClever HS20 gaming headset and I truly loved the sound quality, but after hearing sound through these guys, I don’t think I could go back to the iClevers. If you’d like to use the headset for your Xbox, a 3.5mm combo adapter comes included in the box, so you’ll be able to hear people in your chat party and the game volume at the same time. One is for using the mic only and the other is for the headset. The cord is about 4ft long with a splitter at the end. HOW TO: Change system date in OS X from Terminal The right side of the headset has another Sennheiser logo and just beneath that is the volume adjuster. As for the band itself, it has some foam type material underneath that gives you some cushion to keep the top of your head from hurting after any amount of time of playing games. Sennheisers logo is displayed just before the band starts. Behind the mic is the cord that leads from the headset to the splitter, which I’ll explain later. The earcups themselves are slanted slightly forward giving it a nice look and comfort to users ears. On the left side of the GSP 302 is the earcup with the acoustic mic that has the ability to move up and down whenever you’d like to mute the headset so others can’t hear you. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it - right? GSP 302 with mic down Sennheiser is following suit with this headset and that’s just fine. Two earcups connected together with a large band that lays flat on your head.
